The Paducah, KY SMUG congratulates its co-leader!
Every year, the PPA magazine holds a competition to find the best photo. This competition is a prestigious honor for anyone who places in the top ten. You can only imagine how pleased Suzanne Roach, the co-leader for the Paducah, KY SMUG, was when she earned fifth place.
In her photo, she posed the child to resemble an executive with two Alienbees B400s to light the scene. With her Nikon D3 and a 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6 lens to help her capture her shot, she finished off the photo with Adobe Lightroom to create a vignette.
It is always nice to have members from all different SMUGs enter competitions, because it shows that a wide array of photographers attend SMUGs. It doesn’t matter if you’re a new photographer, or you’re a national competitor- there’s aways something new to learn at a SMUG!
